Terms of Service

These terms ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and POVPOD. By creating an account or using POVPOD, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use POVPOD. By signing up you confirm you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your account

• You're responsible for keeping your password secret and your account secure.
• One person, one account. Doctor, clinic and admin accounts must be operated by the verified individual or entity.
• Tell us immediately at security@povpod.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you post — photos, journeys, comments, messages. By posting, you grant POVPOD a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and distribute that content solely to operate and promote the service (e.g. showing your post in the feed or in a featured pod). This licence ends when you delete the content, except where retention is required by law.

4. Community rules

To keep POVPOD safe and useful, you agree not to:

• Post content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that exploits minors.
• Share other members' photos, stories or messages without their consent.
• Impersonate doctors, clinics, or other users.
• Promote unverified medical claims, miracle cures, or unsafe procedures.
• Spam, scam, scrape the site, run bots, or attempt to bypass moderation.
• Use POVPOD to sell prescription medication or recruit patients outside our verified clinic flow.

We may remove content, suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice depending on severity.

5. Verified clinics & doctors

Verification means we've checked basic credentials (business registration, medical license, public reviews). It does not mean we endorse a specific clinic, treatment outcome, or pricing. Always do your own due diligence.

6. Medical disclaimer

POVPOD is a community platform — not a medical provider. Posts, reels, comments and chats are personal experiences and opinions, not professional medical advice. Never delay seeking professional care because of something you read on POVPOD. Always consult a licensed practitioner before undergoing any cosmetic, surgical or medical procedure.

7. Rewards, points & vouchers

• Points are loyalty credits with no monetary value and cannot be cashed out.
• Vouchers are subject to the issuing partner's own terms and expiry dates.
• We may adjust point balances to correct fraud, abuse, or technical errors.

8. Intellectual property

The POVPOD name, logo, design, code and brand assets are owned by us. You may not copy, adapt or use them without permission. All other trademarks belong to their respective owners.

9. Third-party links

POVPOD may link to clinic websites, news articles or other external resources. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or practices.

10. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continued operation creates risk to the community. Sections that should reasonably survive termination (IP, disclaimers, liability, dispute resolution) will remain in force.

11. Disclaimers

POVPOD is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties — express, implied or statutory — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, POVPOD and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 100.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold POVPOD harmless from any claim arising out of your content, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms or any law.

14. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved by the courts of Singapore, except where mandatory local consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
