Cookie Policy
Last updated · 13 May 2026
This page explains how POVPOD uses cookies and similar local storage on your device. It works alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use related browser technologies — localStorage, sessionStorage and IndexedDB — which work in similar ways.
2. The cookies we use
Strictly necessary
- Session & auth tokens — keep you signed in and protect against CSRF.
- Preferences — remember theme, language, and last opened tab.
These are required for POVPOD to work and cannot be disabled from inside the app.
Functional
- Drafts of posts you haven't published yet.
- Recently viewed clinics, pods and reels for quick navigation.
Analytics (aggregated)
- Anonymized page views and feature usage so we can improve the product.
- Basic crash and performance diagnostics.
We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
3. Managing cookies
You can clear cookies and local storage at any time from your browser settings. Doing so will sign you out and reset your preferences. On most browsers you can also block cookies for specific sites — note that strictly-necessary cookies are required for POVPOD to function.
4. Do Not Track
POVPOD respects "Do Not Track" signals where technically feasible by limiting non-essential analytics for those sessions.
5. Changes
If we add new categories of cookies — for example because we adopt a new analytics provider — we'll update this page and, where required, ask for your consent.
6. Contact
